Department profile

The Department of Computer Science has the right to grant the Bachelor`s (Bc.) and Master`s (Mgr.) degrees to the graduates of full-time form of study and distance form of study in the study program Applied Computer Science and software development , and also to the graduates of full-time form of study in the study program Teaching of Computer Science in combinations at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Matej Bel University. The Department of Computer Science has the right to grant the academic degrees ”Doctor of Pedagogy” (PaedDr.) and “Doctor of Science” (RNDr.) after accomplishing rigorous exams, part of which is a defence of rigorous thesis. The Department of Computer Science is responsible for tuition of various faculty subjects which are compulsory or optional compulsory or just optional. The Department uses four informatics schoolrooms for its education, which are connected to local network with access to the internet, and are equiped with presentation technology.
