The Geoinformatics and Digital Technologies center (CGI)

The Geoinformatics and Digital Technologies center (CGI) coordinates the research and application potential in the field of cartography, geographic information systems (GIS) and remote Earth sensing, and help to achieve the qualitative results of the faculty's scientific research and its subsequent practice.

 

CGI realize pedagogical, educational and scientific research activities in these areas and participates in projects with external environment, direct application and geoinformatics tools for collection, processing and detection of spatial information. Equipment and didactic means are concentrated in F139 laboratory, with software platform from ESRI company and in a separate laboratory of geoinformation technologies.
