## Research

I am active in the fields of group actions on graphs and surfaces, maps, computational group theory and low-dimensional topology. In every field, I try to find, study and implement as effective algorithms as possible to solve (or partially solve) the problems. I use C, C++, GAP and Python as languages of implementation of algorithms

## Teaching

Since 2001 I led the folowing seminars (and/or) lectures on Department of Mathematics on Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University:

- formal languages and automata,
- theory of computation,
- abstract algebra,
- linear optimization,
- coding theory, theory of information,
- cryptography,
- basic usage of computers,
- elementary statistics,
- linear programming,
- discrete mathematics and graph theory,
- algebraic structures.
