Professional characteristics
Ľudovít Trajteľ, Ph.D. Associate Professor – he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the STU in Bratislava with a specialization in mathematical machines/electronic computers in 1976/77 and then worked for 14 years as a research and development worker at the CTC Banska Bystrica (BB). He was evaluated several times as the best independent research and development worker of the company, the best inventor and improver of the company. For his scientific and research activities, the attestation commission gradually awarded him scientific and technical qualification levels III. and II. He was a member of the Council of Experts at the Federal Ministry of Electrotechnical Industry (FMEI) for several years. At CTC, he was responsible for the creation of the majority of computer technology products that were designed and manufactured in Czechoslovakia within the framework of the USEC (Unified System of Electronic Computers) and SSEC (System of Small Electronic Computers) programs. He worked for several years as a hardware expert and special programmer. Already in practice, he published a lot and solved several scientific and research tasks (43 scientific and research tasks directly implemented in practice). He was the author of many IP (69 improvement proposals with a contribution of more than 1 million crowns; at that time Czechoslovak).
After completing his university studies: between 1982 and 1987, he completed a postgraduate course in the field of 26-15-9 Technical Cybernetics at FEE STU in BA (for political reasons, he was not allowed to defend his dissertation); in 1983 he completed his postgraduate studies in the field of Minicomputers and Microcomputers at FEE STU in BA; in 1985 he was certified for III. Scientific and technical qualification degree at FMEP Prague; in 1990 he was certified at II. Scientific and technical qualification degree at FMEP Prague; in 1999 he completed the New Education Methods course at LMU Leeds in Great Britain; in 2000 he completed the course of the same name at Oulu Polytechnic in Finland; in 2001 he completed his doctoral studies in the field 75-02-09; in 2002 he graduated from the School of Pedagogical Teacher Education at FoP MBU BB; in 2003 he graduated from APS Pedagogy, general psychology, human psychology, child biology and didactics at MEF STU BA; in 2008 he obtained his ECDL certificate for ECDL BA; in 2012 he completed the Higher Education of Teachers at LLC MBU BB.
Between 1988 and 1990, he worked as a special assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, STU in Bratislava, where he lectured, led exercises in the subjects of computer technology, HW diagnostics and programming, and supervised several diploma theses. Between 1993 and 1997, he worked as a GIS lecturer at the Slovak Environmental Agency in BB. Between 1997 and 1999, he worked concurrently as a secondary school teacher at JMSS in BB. Between 2000 and 2002, he worked simultaneously as a special assistant at the Department of Fine Arts at FFA AA in BB. Since 1989/90 (ongoing) he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Informatics FNS MBU in BB (secretary of the Department of Informatics FNS MBU (1997 – 2002); vice-dean FNS MBU for Informatization and Development (2001 – 2007); head of the Department of Informatics FNS MBU (2008 – 2012)).
Recapitulation of activities in education: A total of 35 years of higher education experience; guarantor FS/SP Geographical Information Systems (until 1997), guarantor/co-guarantor FS/SP Teaching Computer Science in Combinations, lectures and exercises in 5 key and 11 other subjects; 1 doctoral student; 11 rigorous papers; more than 240 DT and 120 BT; 2 foreign internships (England, Finland); 2 monographs; 1 chapter in the monograph; 3 high school textbooks; 5 elementary school textbooks; 27 scientific works, 19 scientific studies and articles, 9 secondary school teaching texts; 44 higher education/secondary schools electronic or printed scripts; 23 professional publications to support education, 16 reviews of professional books, 41 reviews of professional publications; 43 domestic and 13 foreign citations;. 42 active presentations at domestic and 6 active/invited presentations at foreign scientific conferences; 8 scientific grants; 7 EU projects; leading and solving several other UNESCO, TEMPUS/PHARE, CERN, KEGA, VEGA and other projects.
