Abstract

Pseudomontaneous relief shapes are shapes that feature all of the corresponding characteristics typical for montaneous shapes, but they did not originate for the purposes of mining nor as a result of mineral resources extraction. Pseudomontaneous shapes are any objects and shapes located underground and created by using the procedures employed in mining (e.g. by digging of underground areas and shapes), yet the causes, requirements and, above all, the purpose of their origin is different than the extraction of mineral resources. They are e.g. tunnels, cellars, wells, underground tunnels, tombs, storages and many others.

Nowadays beside underground mines and caves while researching pseudomontaneous anthropogenic relief shapes we use increasingly modern measuring and imaging methods. As a result of their correct technical and methodological use and application in the research we can take into consideration accurate space 3D models appropriate to apply them for further additional research and for practice. Before making 3D models there should be underground geodesy from which it is possible to preform various modelling in different programs (e.g. Therion). Regarding this there is a future progressive use of direct 3D scanning of underground spaces. When creating 3D views of pseudomontaneous underground relief, still it has an important role to make professional spatial drawings.

Key words: underground pseudomontaneous relief forms, measuring and imaging methods, 3D models
