Every spring, the Department organizes the International Scientific Conference on Teaching Informatics, which allows sharing experience and results from pedagogical research focused on the Informatics education field at all levels of education, including university, pre-school and lifelong. It also provides a professional community with a forum for discussion on the educational objectives of information science, didactics, teaching methods, assessments, current issues, trends, lessons, learning materials and projects to support the development of information literacy. Part of the conference is dedicated to practical demonstrations and workshops.
