Research

I am active in the fields of group actions on graphs and surfaces, maps, computational group theory and low-dimensional topology. In every field, I try to find, study and implement as effective algorithms as possible to solve (or partially solve) the problems. I use C, C++, GAP and Python as languages of implementation of algorithms

Teaching

Since 2001 I led the folowing seminars (and/or) lectures on Department of Mathematics on Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University:

  • formal languages and automata,
  • theory of computation,
  • abstract algebra,
  • linear optimization,
  • coding theory, theory of information,
  • cryptography,
  • basic usage of computers,
  • elementary statistics,
  • linear programming,
  • discrete mathematics and graph theory,
  • algebraic structures.

...and some others.
