Matej Bel Geographical Review is scientific reviewed (peer review) geographic journal of Department of Geography and Geology at University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica. Journal is published 2 times a year in electronic version since 2005 and in print version since 2017. The aim of the journal is to publish scientific papers focused on geographic theory and practice in Slovak, Czech and also in English language. The length of the manuscript of scientific studies should not exceed 10,000 words or 30 standard pages of text.

Matej Bel Geographical Review is fully open access journal, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users. Journal is published under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license - https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
