This interdisciplinary programme explores urban biodiversity as a living ecosystem, combining fieldwork, ecological observation, digital mapping (GIS), scientific analysis, and creative methodologies. Students will work in international and interdisciplinary teams to investigate how biodiversity manifests and adapts within urban environments while contributing to the co-creation of a Virtual Museum of Urban Biodiversity.
Programme Structure:
May 4 – June 26, 2026: Virtual preparatory activities
June 28 – July 4, 2026: On-site activities in Baia Mare
July 6 – July 10, 2026: Follow-up virtual activities
